Hyalite Opal (Glass Opal) 1.03 CT

RECOMMEND POINT
High quality! A mysterious hyalite opal that shines with outstanding transparency.

Hyalite opal is derived from the Greek word hualos, which means glass.

Because of its glass-like appearance, it is commonly known as glass opal and is one of the most difficult opal species to produce.

Hyalite opal rough stones have the appearance of a collection of small, transparent lumps that resemble glass grains, and due to the characteristics of the mineral, there is a lot of loss due to cutting, so it is a gemstone that is rarely sold in a loose state.

After cutting, most stones are only around 0.3 carats or less, so 0.5 carats is a sufficiently large size.

Also, some hyalite can emit a neon green color, making it more highly rated than regular hyalite.

Although their production is rare, there are very few clear specimens, and they are mostly sold in a rough state for mineral appreciation.

Among them, this stone is extremely transparent and emits a strong fluorescent green color.
This level of quality is extremely valuable under such harsh conditions.

Enjoy the unique glow that is different from that of ordinary play-of-color opals in this high-quality stone.
