A rare opal that reacts to ultraviolet light!
Hyalite Opal (Glass Opal) 0.46CT

RECOMMEND POINT
An extremely rare opal!
This is hyalite opal that fluoresces under ultraviolet light.

Hyalite opal is derived from the Greek word hualos, which means glass.

Because it looks like glass, it is commonly known as glass opal, and because it is extremely difficult to produce and is the rarest of all opal species, it is also called the mysterious stone.

Unlike precious opals, which have play of color like black opals and Mexican opals, common opals do not have play of color.

As it is called glass opal, it is characterized by unique bubble-like and rhytidic inclusions.
It gives the impression of being similar to Moldavite, a famous natural glass.

Hyalite opal rough stones have the appearance of a collection of small, transparent lumps that resemble glass particles, and look like drops of water that have fallen one by one and solidified.
This makes it difficult to secure a larger size.

What is particularly mysterious is that it emits a neon green color when exposed to ultraviolet light (black light).

It contains trace amounts of uranium and fluoresces when exposed to ultraviolet light.
It is also common for this gemstone to contain inclusions and chips.
We hope you will see this as a natural beauty.

Of course, not all hyalite contains uranium; it is a natural product that occurs by chance.

Please enjoy the rare hyalite opal.
