RECOMMEND POINT
貴重な赤メキに虹色の遊色がゆらめきます。

メキシコオパールの中でも貴重とされているのが
白メキと呼ばれるウォーターオパールと
赤メキと呼ばれる燃えるようなカラーのオパールです。

メキシコ産のオパールは褐色からオレンジに近いものが
多いとされていますが、稀に採掘される透明の結晶を白メキ
赤味の強い物が赤メキと呼ばれそれぞれ人気の高い結晶となっております。

ご覧いただいているのは３．９CTという大粒の赤メキ。

カボションカットの宝石故、裏面や側面に一部未研磨の
部分がございますが、上から見て楽しむ際には全く気にならないと思います。

現れている遊色はネオングリーンやオレンジレッドの物が多く、
特にレッド系の遊色は自然界では珍しいとされており、
