Oligocrase boasts high transparency.

Oligoclase is a gemstone that belongs to the mineral group called feldspar and is located between andesine and albite.
It is also a sister stone to labradorite and moonstone.

Oligoclase comes from the Greek words "oligo" and "klassos", meaning that it is more difficult to break than other gemstones.
(Actually, since it is a natural stone, it cannot be compared.)

By the way, as a side note, crystals with special optical effects (lame-like light phenomena) such as oligoclase, andesine, and labradorite are called sunstone.

Oligoclase has a smooth, opal-like texture when you pick it up, but it is a gemstone with a strong metallic shine and a wonderful luster.

As you can see from the complex compositional relationship of the feldspar group, it usually contains some color, and crystals like this one, which are almost colorless, are very rare.

Oligoclase itself rarely appears on the market, and the quality of the gemstone is only around 3CT at most.
Crystals exceeding 10 CT, such as those shown here, are quite large.

Moreover, it is very clear and high quality.

As you can see in the photo, there are some fine grain inclusions, but they are barely noticeable to the naked eye.
