[With loose identification book] Large crystals with strong fluorescence! UV type pink spinel 2.14CT |
RECOMMEND POINT A rich, sparkling pink color. A rare large spinel with strong ultraviolet rays. |
A large 2CT size spinel that shows off its beautiful sparkle within the crystal. It is a very attractive stone with a glittering shine from clear crystals that shine in pale pink with a hint of purple. Basically, spinel with a diameter of 1CT or more is considered large, and crystals with a diameter exceeding 2CT are extremely rare. It has very high transparency and a subtle pink color. Spinel has a charm that will draw you in with its colorful glow. Furthermore, this spinel is a stone that strongly reacts to ultraviolet rays. Like ruby and sapphire, red spinel may have fluorescence due to chromium, but in any case, crystals that are visible to the naked eye are rarely seen. The crystal this time is a pinkish spinel that is almost colorless, so it may be reacting with something other than chromium. It is certain that some component within the mineral is reacting, but in modern gem science, there are still many things that have not been elucidated. Synthetic spinels that are commonly available have a very red glow, but natural spinels that are intensely colored are a very rare phenomenon. Please rest assured that it has been certified. In addition, like rubies, spinel inherently has weak fluorescence, so the identification book will not indicate whether or not it has fluorescence. This pink spinel has a lovely and elegant shine. If you are interested, please add it to your collection of stones. |
