A gemstone that is extremely popular and rare
Raspberry (Petzottaite) 0.42 CT

RECOMMEND POINT
Raspberyle (Petzottaite) is a rare stone with a beautiful soft pink color.

Petzotite is a relatively new mineral that was discovered in Madagascar in 2002.

Its striking raspberry color means that when it was first discovered, it was sold around the world under the name raspberyl because its ingredients are very similar to red beryl.

The following year, in 2003, the International Mineralogical Union recognized it as petzotite, a new mineral with a similar structure to beryl.

Since the mining is done by hand without the use of heavy machinery, the amount of raw stones is very small, but like emeralds, it is a gemstone that tends to contain a lot of inclusions and cracks, and there are almost no crystals that are good enough to be cut.

While gem-quality stones are said to be rare, this is a stone that is relatively transparent with little turbidity.

Raspberry beryl is a rare and charming gemstone.
We hope you enjoy this stone as part of your collection.
