紫外線を当てるとピンク発色する希少な一石でございます。

グロッシュラーガーネットと呼ばれるこのライムガーネットは、同じグロッシュラーガーネットであるグリーンカラーのグリーンガーネットとは含有する成分が若干違うだけの結晶になります。

今回、ご紹介するタンザニア・メレラニ鉱山産のライムガーネットは紫外線により蛍光性を持つ珍しい特徴を持っております。

通常時は爽やかなライムグリーン。
両端がやや濃くなっており少しバイカラーチックな点も面白い印象を受けます。

内包物もグロッシュラーガーネットの特徴を思うと大変少なく透明度が高い一石となります。
