A rare color of a rare stone!
Barium Sanidine 2.74 CT

RECOMMENDATION POINT
This is sanidine, a rare stone from the feldspar group.
A rare white crystal called the barium type!

The feldspar group includes many popular gemstones such as moonstone and labradorite.
Among them is sanidine, a rare gemstone.

Sanidine is said to be the same species as orthoclase,
but there are differences in how it is formed, and it is said that gem-quality material is rarely mined.

It is a gemstone produced in Borksfield in the Eifel region of Germany, famous for hauyne,
but it is also said to have been mined in Wakayama, Japan, and became the prefecture's official gemstone.

Such sanidine is generally considered to be yellow in color.
However, it is said that some types turn white due to the inclusion of barium.
This is barium sanidine.

Volcanic activity is said to be involved in the infiltration of barium into sanidine,
and it is formed under more severe conditions compared to other barium-containing feldspars.

The barium sanidine introduced here is a high-quality crystal with almost no inclusions
visible to the naked eye.

The size is in the high 2 CT range, making it very impressive.
Enjoy this rare stone, which boasts the soft sparkle characteristic of the feldspar group,
in an even rarer color!
