Diaspore

Diaspore is a type of mineral, belonging to the aluminate mineral group. Diaspores are usually present in crystalline or clumpy form and range in color from colorless to brown to yellow-green.

Diaspores are mainly derived from metamorphic rocks and contact metamorphic deposits. It is formed under the high temperature and high pressure conditions of the earth's crust, and is mainly produced by alteration of sedimentary rocks and volcanic rocks.

Cut diaspores are used as jewelry such as rings, pendants and earrings. Its beautiful color and color change properties make it popular with gem lovers.
