[Loose stone appraisal certificate included] Super super super rare! Gem quality Veirinenite over 1 carat Orange Veirinite 1.27ct
Veyrinenites are incredibly rare. With its gem-quality faceted cut, it is highly unlikely that anyone in the world would own this gemstone. In 1945, a mineralogist from Helsinki, Finland It is named after Heikki Allen Vayrynen. Veirinenite belongs to a rare group of minerals called herderite, a rare phosphate mineral that contains manganese (Mn) and beryllium (Be). Since its discovery, transparent stones have been found only in Pakistan, but around 2006, the mining of very small gem-quality veinenite specimens was reported in Afghanistan. Now, 16 years later (as of 2022), although we have had the opportunity to see low-quality mineral-class stones on several occasions, our store has only handled two gem-quality veinenite stones, including this one. This is the first time we have received products from Afghanistan. That's how rare the gem is. In the first place, even at the raw stone level, they are very small in size and transparent, and are rarely produced regardless of their origin. Also, since it has perfect cleavage and only a limited number can be cut, even if you do see it, it is as small as aventurine, measuring around 0.1 to 0.2 carats. For this reason, gem-quality veinenite over 1 carat is said to be museum-quality. The color range is from light pink to rose red, salmon pink, pale gray, and brown, and although there are variations in color tone, the basic colors are generally red to pink shades. The amount of manganese contained in veinenite seems to give it a soft pink hue. The color is reminiscent of rhodochrosite and padparadscha sapphire from the Sweet Home mine. Among them, this stone is a clear orange color. There may be a slight orange tint, but it is extremely rare to see such a vivid orange. Such a vivid orange faceted cut is extremely rare, and above all, stones over 1 carat can be said to be one of the most premium collectible stones. Our store also processes jewelry, so we would like to say that we can also make rare stone jewelry, but this is a stone of a class that you will rarely come across. At our store, we hope that you will treasure this Veirenite gemstone as part of your collection. |
