Boulder Opal 5.86 CT

 RECOMMENDATION POINT
A stone with a wild impression, like a fossilized tooth!

Boulder opal is formed when water containing opal components flows into cracks in ironstone, etc.,
and crystallizes.

It is classified as one of the precious opals,
characterized by an aurora-like shimmer called play-of-color.

It is said that the shimmering play-of-color in opal is created by light reflecting off
silica spheres, and the color of the play-of-color changes depending on the size of these spheres.

Among them, red-colored play-of-color, which requires larger spheres, and
blue-colored play-of-color, which requires smaller spheres, are considered rare and
are in high demand.

The boulder opal you are viewing is primarily
a red and blue play-of-color boulder opal.

It is divided into areas where large play-of-color sparkles and
areas where delicate play-of-color shimmers like stars in the galaxy,
making it a truly impressive stone.

The curved, triangular crystal also resembles fossilized teeth or claws,
evoking a romantic impression.

The large size of over 5.8 CT is also appealing.

Please enjoy it in your hands!
