RECOMMEND POINT
A very clear stone!
Montebrasite is a rare stone with a strong mint green color.

Have you heard of the gemstone Montebrasite?

I know! I have it! If you say so, you can say that you are a very advanced collector.

The name comes from the fact that it was found in the Montebra Quarry in Creuse, France.

There are very few raw stones, and due to their rarity, it is impossible to determine the origin of the color.

There is also a rare ``Amblygonite'' as a brother stone.
It has almost the same characteristics as "Montebrasite", but these two types are divided into F type (fluorine type) and OH type (hydroxyl group type), similar to topaz. Amblygonite is F type, and Montebrasite is It is an OH type.

Another difference is that the OH type has a higher refractive index, so numerically the brilliance of Montebrasite is stronger, but in reality, I think the difference between it and Amblygonite is hard to tell.

In the first place, it is difficult to have two stones of the same quality.

The difference between ambrigonite and montebrasite has recently been discovered, but there is still a lot of literature that has not been collected, so there are many parts that are not clear. The mineral name is written as ambrigonite-montebrasite.

It is a very mysterious and rare gem.

There are almost no rough stones, and even among them, only a handful are of gem quality, and beautiful crystals with high transparency are extremely rare.

Furthermore, the mint green color is a rare color among Montebra sites.

Please enjoy the collection stones that only those in the know know.
