名前の由来は、銅 (Copper) に由来しています。

この宝石のユニークな点は、一般的なカラーチェンジストーンと
少し違ったカラーチェンジをする点です。

アレキサンドライトなどのカラーチェンジストーンは、
結晶の色が変化する事が多いと思います。

しかし、キュープライトは白熱灯を当てると
結晶の奥から赤色の輝きを零すようにカラーチェンジします。

変化前のブラックダイヤモンドのような光沢から溢れる
