Very rare round cut 1 carat or more!
Burmese pigeon blood ruby 1.09 CT

RECOMMEND POINT
Rare Burmese pigeon blood round cut!
This ruby has a very vivid, sparkling crimson glow.

Burmese pigeon blood ruby has an attractive, vibrant crimson color.

While the prices of many colored stones have been rising recently, high-quality rubies are one of the gemstones whose prices have risen significantly.

Among them, the crimson ruby makes a strong impression.

And there's a term you often hear in relation to ruby: pigeon blood.

Rubies, which are commonly referred to as "pigeon blood" and resemble the color of pigeon's blood, are considered to be of the highest quality.

That said, standards vary from one appraisal agency to the next, so it's easy to be swayed by the name "pigeon blood" alone, but the strong red color seen in old stock from Burma is very attractive.

One thing to pay particular attention to is the round cut of 1 carat or more.

You may see round cut rubies up to about 0.5 carat in size, but the number of round cut rubies drops dramatically from around 1 carat.

For this reason, round cut Burmese diamonds containing pigeon blood are extremely valuable.

This stone has a very passionate mosaic-like red glow due to the inclusions that are unique to Burmese stones.
It also fluoresces strongly under UV light.

While being a collector's item, you can also enjoy the beautiful world of red that only this ruby has.
