A precious large 7 carat size!
Montebrasite 7.06 CT

RECOMMEND POINT
A precious size of over 7 carats!
This stone has outstanding transparency and shines brightly in a refreshing mint green color.

This rare Montebrasite is a gem-quality crystal with outstanding transparency and beautiful, powerful brilliance.

It was named after the Montebra quarry in Creuse, France, where it was discovered.

Its sister stone is the also rare Amblygonite.
It has almost the same characteristics as "Montebrasite".
Similar to topaz, these two types are divided into F type (fluorine type) and OH type (hydroxyl type), with amblygonite being the F type and montebrasite being the OH type.

Another difference is that the OH type has a higher refractive index, so although montebrasite has a stronger shine numerically, I think the difference between it and amblygonite is actually not noticeable to the naked eye.

The difference between amblygonite and montebrasite has only recently been discovered, and as there is still not enough literature to elucidate many aspects, the mineral is usually written as amblygonite-montebrasite.

In addition, the origin of the color cannot be determined.

In particular, the beautiful gemstone quality of the 7 carat size is very rare, so why not add it to your collection?
