[Loose stone appraisal certificate included] A refreshing rare stone! Montebrasite 1.24 CT
Montebrasite is a high-grade collection stone. This gemstone was named after the Montebla quarry in Creuse, France, where it was discovered. The raw stone itself is extremely rare, and due to its rarity, it is impossible to determine the origin of the color. Its sister stone is the also rare Amblygonite. It has almost the same characteristics as "Montebrasite," but the two are divided into F type (fluorine type) and OH type (hydroxyl type), just like topaz, with amblygonite being the F type and montebrasite being the OH type. Numerically, montebrasite has a higher refractive index and a stronger shine, but this cannot be determined with the naked eye, so it is necessary to actually measure it or submit it to an appraisal agency. The difference between amblygonite and montebrasite has only recently been discovered, and as there is still not enough literature to elucidate the matter, the mineral is often referred to as amblygonite-montebrasite. It is a rare gemstone with a deep mystery. In particular, the bright mint-green colors are rare even among Montebrasites. Beautiful and rare Montebrasite. This is a highly recommended stone for your collection. |
