Newly discovered in Tanzania, peristerite belongs to the feldspar group, just like moonstone.
It is characterized by blue-white schiller and resembles moonstone.

However, because its mineral characteristics are different from those of moonstone, it is distinguished as a different gemstone.

Peristerite is cut into a slightly slender oval style, making the scene appear wider.
