[With loose identification book] Rare collection stone Green Helderite 1.13CT
Do you know the gemstone called herderite? Herderite can be said to be a rare gemstone for collectors who can't find it even if they look for mineral encyclopedias because it is produced in small quantities. This gemstone was discovered in a tin mine in Ehrenfriedersdorf, Saxony, Germany in 1825, and was named after Baron Von Herder, the mine manager at the time. It is a "phosphate mineral" of calcium and beryllium, and is generally colorless or pale yellow in color. As a characteristic of the mineral, there are extremely few gem-quality crystals that are beautiful enough to be cut into gemstones, and most of them are in the specimen class. Of course, this crystal also contains inclusions, but since there are almost no inclusions that can be cut in the first place, it is transparent and is already valuable when it shines. What attracted our attention most to this crystal was its beautiful green color that was visible to the naked eye. Most of the gemstone qualities of herderite are colorless or yellow, with very few green, pink, or purple colors, making it a rare color. One of them is green color. I think this will be a valuable piece for your collection. Green herderite is rare to come across. This is a rare stone recommended by our store. |
