With star sunstone, the lines tend to appear in a cross shape, but with this stone the vertical lines tend to be stronger and the horizontal lines a little weaker. So, this is not to say that it is a bad stone, but I would be happy if you could see it as being similar to cat's eye. I think this aspect is unique to natural stones.
