[Loose stone appraisal certificate included] The vibrant colors are wonderful Parrot Color Enstatite 1.41CT
Enstatite with an extremely rare color discovered in a new mine in Myanmar The color is just like parrot chrysoberyl. Most rare stones tend to have rather dull coloring, but this one boasts a vivid parrot color. Unfortunately, you don't see this color very often. As for the mineral, enstatite is a solid solution of magnesium and silicate. Enstatite has excellent fire resistance due to its magnesium content, and its name is said to come from the Greek word "entates" (opposition). Its Japanese name is "Gankaseki" (fire resistant stone), and as the name suggests, it has excellent fire resistance. Enstatite is basically brown in color, but crystals with such vivid colors defy conventional wisdom. Enstatite with a wonderful parrot color. I highly recommend this as a piece for your collection. |
