貴重なファセットカットが施されたレアカラー結晶です。

今までのアンデシンとは少し雰囲気の違う珍しい彩りを持つヴォルカンアンデシン。

アンデシンは、オリゴクレーズ（サンストーン）とラブラドライトの中間に位置し、ちょうど両方の成分を半分ずつ持っています。

しかし、宝石的に有名な両者に対して、このアンデシンは流通量が大変に少なく、産出地は多いものの、宝石として研磨できる原石が得られにくいため、希少な宝石質結晶です。

このルースの名称でもある「ヴォルカン」とはフランス語で火山と言う意味を持ちます。

その名のとおり、いかにもマグマが地上に飛び出すかのような赤みを帯びた絶妙なカラーが目に焼きつきます。

４ＣＴを超える大粒、尚且つスタイルの美しいペアシェイプ。
