Tourmaline said to contain manganese and chromium!
Orange Tourmaline 1.38 CT

RECOMMEND POINT
A beautiful unheated orange tourmaline with a rich orange hue.

Orange tourmaline is considered a rare color of tourmaline.

However, its recognition might not be as high compared to colorless achroite or
the popular Paraiba tourmaline.

Orange tourmaline is said to be born from a balanced composition of included elemental components.

This particular stone is said to have been mined in the Umba River basin in Kenya.

It is also said that the orange color is due to the presence of elements such as manganese,
but the conditions for tourmaline to become orange in nature are considered strict.

Therefore, the limited mining regions probably contribute to its rarity.

Tourmaline is characterized by containing many inclusions,
but this particular stone has a particularly clear appearance, with almost no inclusions visible to the naked eye.

Currently, it may still be a minor rare color,
but there aren't many of them in the market,
so it might become difficult to obtain once it becomes popular.

For collectors,
it is a stone that might be worth securing now.
