Large gem-quality polusite (polusite)
5.95CT, which is extremely rare on the market.

RECOMMEND POINT
This is a large polusite with facets that is rarely seen at mineral shows around the world.

Polucite is a rare gem known only to those in the know.

Polusite is a gemstone that was first discovered by a German mineralogist on the Italian island of Elba in 1846.
Since it was mixed with the rare stone Petalite, it was named Pollux stone after the twin gods and heroes of Greek mythology.

Although it was not clear in the initial analysis, it was discovered in the 1860s that it contained cesium oxide, making it a mineral that contains the extremely rare rare element cesium as its main component.

When you hear the word cesium, you tend to get nervous, but don't worry, it has no effect on the human body if handled normally.

Facet-cut gem-quality petalite is extremely rare, but the even rarer pole site is rare because there are so few raw stones that it rarely appears on the world market.
As of 2022, it is still only occasionally seen at mineral shows around the world.

Still, most gemstones are semi-transparent with many inclusions, and there are only a few gem-quality crystals that can be cut, and many of them are smaller in size, and there are only a few large crystals on the market.

2 CT is a large enough size at the raw stone level, so crystals larger than 5 CT and clear are extremely rare.

A very rare polusite stone that hardly exists on the market, and boasts large grains and outstanding transparency.

Would you like to add this large, high-quality polusite to your collection?
