This is a rare round cut andesine in a rare color.

A rare color crystal, Volcan Andesine, with a size of over 4 carats that makes for an outstanding presence.

This gemstone, which is said to be somewhere between sunstone and labratorite, is commonly found in the Andes Mountains, hence the name "andesine".

Although it is produced in many places, there are few gem-quality stones, and naturally there are not many of them circulating on the market, making it a rare stone.

The name of this stone, "Volcan", means volcano in French.

French is the official language in Congo, and the name comes from the volcanic activity of the famous Nyiragongo and Nyamuragira mountains.

This stone has been shipped as andesine, but it appears to contain a small amount of sunstone mixed in. Depending on the angle you look at it from, the surface appears to have a glittery film covering it, which gives it some interesting characteristics.

The rare large round cut is also attractive.
