Triplite

Triplite is a kind of phosphate mineral. Chemically, it is expressed as (Mn,Fe,Zn)2(PO4)(F,OH), and its main components are manganese, iron, and zinc. Triplite is generally brown or reddish brown and forms transparent to translucent crystals.

Triplite is mainly found in rocks such as metamorphic rocks and granites. It forms especially in environments rich in manganese and iron. Triplite is produced in Sweden, Germany, Brazil, and the United States.

Because of its rarity as a gemstone, triplite has long been a valuable object of mineralogical interest and collection. Triplite crystals have a beautiful shape, and their color and crystal structure are attractive. It may also show fluorescence.
